23. COMMUNITY SERVICES

- The fundamental reason this department exists is to ensure the Diocese
has a strong presence within the external community. We need to ensure
the Diocese is constantly adding value to the community in which we live in.
- Raise the level of awareness about the presence of the Coptic Orthodox
  Church in the general public
- The department will be responsible for arranging community service
programs involving all ages of the community within the Diocese and at large.
- This may include Volunteer work For organizations that do not conflict with
the Churches ethical and moral values.
- Open days for local communities at each parish to know who are the Copts
and understand their faith
- Be active members of the public and increase our profile in the public eye
