COYA
Introduction
Over 2001,
we have constantly read in Epsajee and other Diocese publications
that COYA will be introduced for our youth and we have heard His Grace
Bishop Suriel commenting on the introduction and implementation of
COYA continuously. Prior and during the Summer Youth Conventions of
December 2001 a pamphlet was distributed to all youth and an in depth
PowerPoint presentation was conducted in all church youth meetings
and at the Conventions demonstrating the mechanics behind COYA. Furthermore,
application forms were released for the youth whom expressed interest
in obtaining a leadership role within the Association. Hence, Under
the Fatherly guidance of His Grace Bishop Suriel COYA was irrevocably
established earlier this year as 24 Victorian youth members were appointed
as COYA Representatives whom are solely responsible
in consistently providing initiatives to ensure that the youth service
of the Diocese continues to prosperous and vibrant.
As many of you would still be
asking - what is COYA? His Grace along with
the COYA Group have decided to provide for you information on all
you need to know about COYA including goals,
objectives, structure,
upcoming activities, fundraising
& events
