13. GRANTS

- The sole responsibility of this department is to apply for and obtain all
relevant grants.
- There are numerous Government Grants, federal, state and local
respectively, that are not being actively sought after: ie/ organisational
houses, sports, drug rehab, women’s issues etc.
- Require considerable lobbying and being familiar with relevant
personnel and Government departments to access these funds.
- Require relevant expertise and committed individuals to seek these
funds actively.
- To ensure the integrity of the church and diocese is maintained in
applying for grants
- Seek grants to employ a full time Social worker for the diocese
