2. LITURGICAL

  - Responsible in assisting the Bishop to implement the decrees of the Holy
Synod with respect to the synodical committee responsible for the rites
of the church across the parishes of the diocese.
  - To form a chorus of deacons for the diocese that represents the diocese
at special functions and celebrations.
  - Organize liturgies and conferences for deacons.
  - To have on going educational programs for deacons of all levels
  - Teach hymns and the rites of the church
  - To unify the hymns of the church in the English language across all churches
  of the diocese
  - To teach and encourage young people to learn midnight praises and chants
  - Regular courses for Clergy:
    -Ritual
  -unification
  - Deeper research into Liturgy and rites of the church
  - To produce Audio CD’s for educational purposes on Coptic Hymns
  - And documentaries on the history and meaning of Coptic hymns and chants
  in liaison with the multi media department
