Arabic Radio Program
The Coptic Arts
and Heritage Association
A committee from the church's children formed in April 1996, they
called themselves "The Coptic Arts and Heritage association". They
then proposed a requisition to the radio station "3 ZZZ FM"
to specify a time for them to broadcast a Coptic program to serve
the Coptic community in Melbourne. After a long time of persistent
effort and prayers, the administration of the radio station approved
the requisition formed contract and was signed by Mr. Lewis Wahba
and deacon Mr. Alfonse Seif.
The Dedicated servants then organized
them selves thoroughly and aired their first program for the delight
of the Coptic communities ears on Friday 2nd May 1997 from 2:00PM
to 3:00PM. The members of the association were excited and happy with
their achievements and thanked God for his Grace. From thereafter,
by Gods blessing, the program aired every Friday.
On April 2nd 1998 the association asked
for another timeslot for an English broadcast to serve the youth of
the beloved Church. An agreement was reached by January 2000. And
