5. RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

- The purpose of this department is to serve the needs of the parishes by providing
materials and services that will advance their programs of religious education.
- With the aim of instilling in the minds and hearts of our people the spiritual, moral,
and cultural values of our Coptic Orthodox faith.
- Responsible for Religious education at all levels, young, youth, family, elderly.
- Education is a life long process from birth to death.
- The department will also be instrumental in the development and preparation of
  religious education teachers, caring for the curriculum which is sensitive to the
  various needs of different age groups and regions across the diocese.
