Purchased in 1973, St. Mary Church was the first Coptic Orthodox Church in Melbourne, Australia.

RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS

In 2007 St. Mary Church underwent a full renovation and refurbishments for the adjoining houses to the Church.  More Sunday school classes, a new kitchen and car park were added to the property. The Church roof gutters and storm water pipes were replaced and the interior of the church and Baptismal room were refurbished.  In addition a new Church by the name of St. John Chrysostom was built, which now caters for a full English mass.
